Fallen Headsets
3D & VFX
Softwares used:
Simulations: Maya
Render: Redshift/3Ds Max
Comp: After Effects
In 2020, I had the pleasure of producing and creatively directing the launch materials for the new models of mice, headsets, and keyboards from the peripheral brand of CS world champion Fallen. In this project, I produced videos and ambient images for all the products.
I was responsible for the entire creative process, including conceptualization, storyboards, and styleframes, 3D modeling, animations, simulations, and the production of final images and videos.

Making of
In this project, unlike the mice and keyboard project, I had to fully model the headset and create a rig to manipulate it during the animation. For this, the client sent me the headset so I could model it accurately.
Being a 1-minute-long video entirely in 3D, I had a lot of creative freedom to build tension and suspense in the presentation of the headset. This video was shown on big screens at a major gaming event to announce the brand’s launches.
The simulations of foam and glass sphere formation were done in Maya using Mash.
The following year, new colors for the same headset were released, and I was invited again to direct the video announcing the new colors. This time, there was no new concept to explore, so I focused on creating suspense at the beginning and a “skin change” scene where the black headset peels off to reveal a new color underneath.
Once again, the simulations were done in Maya nCloth, and the project was rendered with Redshift for 3Ds Max.
